ULTRAFILTRATION
Suspended matter- and particle removal, pretreatment of a reverse osmosis, cleaning of surface water.
By means of ultrafiltration, it is possible to detach colloquially dispersed particles between 0.01 and 0.1 nm.
Ultrafiltration operates as cross-flow-filtration, which means that the particles separated during this process are washed out of the module together with the stream of concentrate.
This procedure can be applied when it comes to separating relatively huge organic molecules or to the processing of surface- or backwater .
